RYA Coastal Skipper

Advanced skippering course for more experienced skippers wanting to extend their knowledge of skippering coastal passages by day and night.We run our RYA Day Skipper Course course over 5 days.
You will meet your yacht and your instructor on the first day of your course at 0930. It may be possible to arrive to the course and stay overnight on the yacht a day before the course commences at the additional fee of 25- 45 Euro depending on season, please contact the school for details.
The course will take place around Gulf of Gdansk and maybe beyond, you will be living on board and fully experience life on a yacht, including sailing at night. All our practical courses are hands on.
During the RYA Coastal Skipper practical course you will develop skills such as complex boat handling, pilotage and passage planning, advanced navigation, meteorology, command skills, emergency situations, crew and boat management.

RYA Coastal Skipper (Practical)

The RYA Coastal Skipper course with Sailpro School of Yachting is a residential course. You will be staying onboard overnight. We require you to report any dietary needs or allergies prior to the course. Our courses are run vegan/vegetarian only. We provide produce for various meals and snacks during the day. In case you need more water, fresh bread or salad, please refer to the Instructor who will be equipped to finance your special needs during the course
The successful candidates will be issued with a RYA Coastal skipper practical certificates.
It is recommended students also complete a RYA SRC (Short Range Radio Certificate) course and assessment which enables the new skipper future yacht charters and active part in marine traffic.
